Feature Built for AI Assistants

Your AI assistant can integrate Canopy correctly

Point your coding assistant at Canopy and it has what it needs: a skill that teaches the decisions, MCP servers for the docs and your Account, and docs written to be read by a machine.

Agent skill

Teach your assistant how Canopy fits together

A Claude Code plugin, and plain Markdown any assistant can read. It covers the choices an endpoint list can't: the shape of sign-in, verifying tokens, authorizing in-process, and the mistakes to avoid.

Other assistants read the same Markdown files

MCP servers

Two servers, for two different jobs

Both are listed in the official MCP registry under Canopy's domain.

Docs server

No sign-in needed. It answers where to click, what a capability does and which API to call, from the docs themselves.

Account server

Works on your Account. Every public API operation is a tool, run with your own credential.

Works with your client

Connect through the browser, or use an API key for a client that can't open one.

You stay in control

Nothing happens that you didn't approve

The account server signs you in through the browser, and you approve each client for one Application and Environment.

Untick the capabilities a client may not use
Make an approval read-only
See and revoke approvals on your profile
Changes it makes are marked in the audit log

Per-client approval

A consent page names the client, and what it gets.

Limits

Tools outside the limit are hidden and refused.

On the record

Each change names the client and the approval behind it.

Docs built for machines

Everything in a form an assistant can read

An assistant fetches what it needs instead of scraping pages.

llms.txt

An index of the docs, and a single-fetch version with the endpoint catalog and webhook events.

Markdown pages

Every docs page is served as Markdown at its URL plus .md.

OpenAPI

Published API documents, with each route's permission and responses.

Dashboard map

Every dashboard page with its menu path, so an assistant can tell you where to click.

Tested code

Snippets that have actually run

The skill's code blocks are compiled in the SDK's build and run against a real Canopy. The docs quote those same blocks, and a check fails if they drift.

Compiled against the SDK's types
Run against a real Canopy
Checked against the docs on every change

Compiled

A snippet that stops compiling fails the build.

Run for real

Against Canopy itself, not a mock.

One source

The docs quote the same blocks the skill teaches.
