Manage your plan and payment

Upgrade to Pro, add and change payment cards, save tax IDs, read invoices, and cancel or resume a subscription in the Admin Workspace.

The plan and how you pay

In the Admin Workspace, Billing has five tabs: Plan & Usage, Billing details, Tax IDs, Payment method, and Invoices. Cards are stored with Stripe; card numbers never touch Canopy's servers.

  • billing.manage Change the subscription, payment methods, tax details, and everything else about how the account pays. Includes everything the read capability allows.

Account-wide, for administrators who govern the Account.
The plan and how you pay
Open Billing from the left nav. On Plan & Usage, read the plan summary and the usage meters against the plan's limits. A new Account is on Free.Click Upgrade to Pro to open Stripe checkout; on success a You're on Pro. toast appears. Where checkout is not offered, the button is absent rather than disabled.On Payment method, click Add card and save it; the first card is badged Default and later ones Backup. Make default swaps the badges. Remove card takes one out of the wallet; the default card is charged at each renewal and backups only if it fails.On Tax IDs, add one to have it appear on the next invoice. Verification is automatic; a number the tax authority rejects shows Unverified but stays on file.On Invoices, each row shows date, number, amount, due, and status, with View and PDF. The list is read from Stripe and updates as payments settle.Cancel subscription keeps Pro until the end of the current period, then reverts to Free; the plan card reads Cancels …. Resume subscription undoes it before then.
If you don't see this

Each control on this page exists only for someone who may use it. When something described above is missing, one of these is why:

Billing is not in the left nav. Your administrator role does not carry billing.manage. Someone may hold that alone, which is why Billing sits at the top level rather than inside Settings.There is no Upgrade to Pro. Checkout is not enabled for this deployment, or the Account already is on Pro; the plan card says which.Remove card is refused. A paid subscription needs a card on file; add another before removing the last.
