Change the account name

Rename the Account from the Admin Workspace's Settings page and copy its ID for support.

Rename the account

In the Admin Workspace, Settings → General holds the Account's profile. Changes apply account-wide, across every Application and Environment.

Opens with
  • account.manage Edit the account's profile and general settings: its name, and the details that identify it. This does not include billing, and it does not include anything inside an environment.

Account-wide, for administrators who govern the Account.
Rename the account
Open Settings → General from the left nav. The Account profile card shows the Account ID, read-only and copyable; quote it when contacting support.Change the Account name and click Save changes. An Account updated. toast appears. An empty name is refused.The new name shows everywhere at once: the account switcher, the Workspace page, the Developer Console's account context, and the invitation emails your people receive.
If you don't see this

Each control on this page exists only for someone who may use it. When something described above is missing, one of these is why:

Settings is not in the left nav. Opening General needs account.manage; the owner's Danger zone sits under the same Settings entry.The fields are shown but disabled. You can read the profile but your role does not carry account.manage.
